How does the IPL Treatment work?
IPL treatment works by delivering intense light pulses that are absorbed by the pigment cells in the skin. This light energy is converted into heat, which specifically destroys the pigment cells without damaging the surrounding tissue. When treating redness and dilated blood vessels, the light is absorbed by hemoglobin, leading to the obliteration of the vessels. During hair removal, the light is absorbed by the melanin in the hair follicle, destroying the hair roots and reducing hair growth.
