Dr. Sylvana Ingold, MD, is a Swiss citizen, a federally certified specialist in surgery (FMH), and CEO and founder of InGold Aesthetics and the InGold Academy. Dr. Ingold is board-certified by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM) in Dubai and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS). Dr. Ingold’s passion for surgery was awakened in childhood, inspired by her mother. After completing extensive surgical training and obtaining her FMH board certification in surgery, she delved deeper into the connection between aesthetics, safety, and well-being.
As an international faculty member and lecturer at the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM), as well as an international key opinion leader (KOL) for renowned companies such as Teoxane, the largest Swiss manufacturer of fillers, and Relife-Menarini, a global leader in thread lifts, she combines in-depth expertise with cutting-edge technology. Dr. Ingold has firsthand knowledge of the latest trends and procedures in aesthetic medicine and surgery and uses her expertise to provide her patients worldwide with optimal, natural, and safe results.
Born in Athens, the city that is home to beauty, Dr. Ingold began her impressive career after graduating from high school. She decided to study medicine at the University of Bologna in Italy, one of the oldest and most prestigious medical universities in the world, and graduated with the maximum score of 110/110.
She subsequently earned her doctorate through a scientific dissertation in the field of reconstructive facial surgery with bone transplantation for patients with head and neck tumors at the San’t Orsola University Hospital in Bologna. She later also earned a second doctorate from the University of Bern.
Dr. med. Sylvana Ingold is the founder of InGold Aesthetics , with clinics in the heart of Bern and Zug.
Her solid surgical career and dedication led her to complete her surgical residency at Switzerland’s largest university and cantonal hospitals. Her passion for aesthetics drove her to further develop her skills internationally, including through prestigious advanced training courses in aesthetic plastic surgery in Dubai, Latin America, Europe, and the USA. In 2019, she was awarded the title of Internationally Recognized Expert by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and the Academy of Medical Excellence after passing the final examination in Dubai with distinction (Board Certification American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine AAAM).
Dr. Ingold is married to Dr. Jonas Ingold and is the mother of three children.
In 2021, she developed her own patented injection technique for lip sculpting, known as “The Swiss Lips®.” This technique delivers harmonious and natural results and enjoys great popularity both among her Swiss patients and internationally.
Dr. Ingold is also the author of numerous publications, a reviewer, speaker, and moderator at international and national conferences. In 2022, she founded the InGold Aesthetics Academy, which aims to train physicians and medical staff in the field of aesthetics at the highest level.
